Unfortunately for us, the cold comes back to Växjö. But don't worry, after the Swedish winter we are able to manage every climate situation.
This article is written in English like a simple tribute to my few and beloved English speaking readers. I know that someones of them use 'Google translate' to follow my articles written in Spanish. So, I can only say 'thanks'.
The two Spanish teams!
But, what is exactly Vallborg? -Well, I'm not an expert but, basically, is a party to celebrate the Spring arriving. What it consits? - Mainly dancing and drinking with your friends.
The weather was perfect (18º degrees in Sweden is an extraordinary temperature) and the company too. A big part of the Spanish people and some of the most important party-animals (Stefan was the MVP of the journey) from Växjö were there.
Stefan (MVP!), hugging Esther!
Swedish people: 100% serious all the year.
The party took place in a crowded big park close to the Lund's main square. A lot of people suffered sunburns. Luckily it wasn't my case.
Cookies in a party? Why not?
The party was essentially dancing a long time. I can't tell to much more because I took a three hours nap on the grass during the evening. But everybody enjoyed (changing Stallarna for other places is sometimes interesting). The night was quite strange, we missed some people on the way, we got free pizzas (I don't know how it was, it was a miracle!) and we entered in a party in a Swedish corridor, although we were fired immediately by polite Swedish people (I'm not being ironic, they fired us with really nice words...).
If I don't celebrate Vallborg, I don't visit Helsingborg!
Definitely, it was a good weekend. We had fun, we visited Lund and Helsingborg (I have to visit Malmö the next time), we slept in a quite creepy camping in Eslöv (nice village, nice Systembolaget), we hosted illegally 5 people more in the camping, and we enjoyed a legen...wait for it! dary breakfast.
Breakfast after a hard night: Priceless!
Besides, the spanish people (they were a bit unworried) trusted me like one of the official drivers. Thanks for your trust!
I want only to finish being grateful with my fellas. The Erasmus time is finishing but thanks to them the last months are being amazing.
Pictures with unknown people: awesome! |
See you on the pubs! (Stallarna).
Ciao!
